How to Use the
Digital Voice Sampler
The DIGITAL VOICE SAMPLER
lets you take a "sample" of just
about any sound you wish with
the VSS-30's microphone. Capture
the sound of natural instruments,
or anything from people's voices
to animal sounds, motor vehicles
and so on, then use that sample
as a sound source for your
keyboard performance. You can
also process the sampled sound
with the the VOICE EDITOR,
which works like a synthesizer.
Two Sampling Methods:
Microphone and
SAMPLE-IN
€ Use the microphone (3) when
you want to sample the sound
of something in your immediate
vicinity, like a person's voice,
the twittering of a bird or the
bark of a dog, the tapping of a
finger against a pane of glass

erlaubt das Einfangen (Sampling)
von praktisch jedem Geráusch mit
dem Mikrofon des VSS-30.
Akustische Musikinstrumente,
menschliche Stimmen, Tierstimmen,
Motorengeráusche etc. kónnen
aufgenommen und dann als
Ausgangs-Sound fiir das Spiel auf
dem Keyboard verwendet werden.
Der aufgenommene Sound kann
auch mit dem VOICE EDITOR,
der wie ein Synthesizer arbeitet,
bearbeitet werden.

Le DIGITAL VOICE SAMPLER per-
met de "prendre un échantillon"
de pratiquement n'importe quel
son par le microphone du VSS-30.
On pourra ainsi capter le son
d'instruments naturels et de tout
autre son—voix humaine, sons
d'animaux ou bruits de moteurs,
par exemple—et utiliser cet
"échantillon" comme source
sonore pour une interprétation au
clavier. Il est également possible
de "traiter" le son échantillonné á
l'aide de l'editeur de voix qui fonc-
tionne comme un synthétiseur.

Cómo emplear la
sección del muestreador
de voces digital
El muestreador de voces digital
(DIGITAL VOICE SAMPLER) le
permitirá tomar una **muestra" de
prácticamente cualquier sonido que
desee con el micrófono del VSS-30.
Capte el sonido de instrumentos
naturales, o cualquiera desde voces
humanas a sonidos de animales,
vehículos motorizados, etc., y
después emplee tal muestra como
fuente acüstica para su actuación al
teclado. También podrá procesar el
sonido muestreado con el editor de
voces (VOICE EDITOR), que
trabaja igual que un sintetizador.
Dos métodos de muestreo:
Micrófono y con la toma
de entrada para muestreo
(SAMPLE-IN)
€ Emplee el micrófono (3) cuando
desee muestrear el sonido de algo
que se encuentre cerca, como la
voz de una persona, el trino de un
pájaro, el ladrido de un perro, el
golpeteo del dedo contra un cristal
—lo que guste.
