4. Faucet adapter ( 1 piece ) : Used for
cold water mains line connection with
porous filter.
5. Water filter (1 piece *Optional): It is
used to connect the mains water to the
product. If there is a carboy connec-
tion; there is no need to use a water fil-
ter.
Connecting the water hose to the
product
Follow the instructions below to connect
the water hose to the product.
1. Remove the fitting from the hose end
adapter attached to the back of the
product, thread the fitting onto the wa-
ter hose.
2. Attach the water hose to the hose-end
adapter by pressing down firmly.
3. Secure the union to the hose-end ad-
apter by hand tightening. You can
tighten the union using a pipe wrench
or pliers.
Connecting to mains water
(This feature is optional)
If you are going to use the product by con-
necting it to the cold water line, you need to
install a standard 1/2" valve fitting on the
cold water network in your home. If this fit-
ting is not available and you are not sure,
consult a qualified plumber.
1. Disconnect the union from the faucet
adapter.
2. Connect the faucet adapter to the
mains line valve.
