4.5.4.3 Setting Communications Parameters (Modbus TCP Protocol)

Context
This section applies to the scenario where the device is connected to the NMS.
Procedure
Step 1 On the home screen, choose Settings > Comm Settings > WAN IP Settings, and
set the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway based on the actual plan.

Step 2 On the home screen, choose Settings > Comm Settings > Modbus Settings and
set Link mode to Server and client or Client. Set Client encryption to Enable.

Setting Method
Set the baud rate as required. The value should be
consistent with that set on the NMS.
Set the communication address of the smart
cooling product as planned. The NMS
communicates with the smart cooling product
through this address, and the communication
addresses of two smart cooling products
connecting to the same NMS must be unique.
● For scenarios without grouping, set this
parameter to Enable for the last device.
● For scenarios with grouping, set this parameter
to Enable for the last device in each teamwork
control group.
