Smart-hopping Access Point Connectors

Note the following connectors on the Smart-hopping Access Point:
Ethernet Interface (LAN) - The Access Point provides a 100-Base-T Ethernet interface
with an RJ45 connector to connect the Access Point to the Smart-hopping Sync Unit.
The Access Point Ethernet interface provides data communications to and from the
IntelliVue Information Center over the Smart-hopping LAN infrastructure. It also
presents the power and synchronization signals required by the Access Point. The
synchronization signal is superimposed on the power supply voltage. Table 1-1 lists
the pin signals for the Access Point Ethernet interface.
UTP Cable Connectors to Remote Antennas (RA1 and RA2) - Two standard RJ45
connectors are provided for the UTP cables that connect the Access Point to its Remote
Antennas. Each UTP cable carries power, Transmit, Receive, and Antenna Diversity
Control signals to the Remote Antenna.
