8005 - IntraMail Master Mailbox Options
Description
The ability to assign a Master Mailbox as a Directory Dialing Mailbox requires software version
03.20.07 or higher.
Software
Master Mailboxes are enabled by default in software version 03.20.07 or higher. They are disabled by

Master Mailbox programming is simplified in software version 03.20.07 or higher.
Use 8005 - Master Mailbox Options to set up the 16 Master Mailboxes (600-607 and 700-707). The Master
Mailboxes are additional mailboxes used for Ring Group and UCD Hunting Group overflow destinations. You
can also use Master Mailboxes for Guest Mailboxes (i.e., Subscriber Mailboxes without associated telephones),
additional Call Routing Mailboxes, or additional Announcement Mailboxes. See the following for more:

You can also set up a Master Mailbox as a Directory Dialing Mailbox. An outside caller can route to a Mas-
ter Mailbox programmed as a Directory Dialing Mailbox from:
The Answer Table's Answer Schedule Override Mailbox, Default Mailbox, or Routing Mailbox.
A GOTO action in the Dial Action Table of a Call Routing Mailbox.

Mailbox Number

(EXTENSION)
Use this option to select the Master Mailbox you want to program. If setting up overflow mailboxes for Ring
Group or UCD Hunting Group master numbers, be sure the Master Mailbox extension number matches the
respective group number. For example, the Master Mailbox used as the overflow destination for Ring Group
600 should be mailbox 600. Refer to the following when selecting the Master Mailbox extension number:

Use this option to set the Master Mailbox type. There are 4 types: Call Routing (1), Announcement (2), Sub-
scriber (3) and Directory Dialing (4). Refer to the following when setting up the Master Mailbox type:
