Description
The 1808 - Mailbox Type option requires software version 03.20.07 or higher.

Software
The 1808 - Mailbox Active option is only available in software versions prior to 03.20.07.

Note:
The 1808 - Directory List Number option requires software version 03.20.07 or higher.

Use 1808 - IntraMail Subscriber Mailbox Options to set up an extension's Subscriber Mailbox. The Intr-
aMail Subscriber Mailbox number is the same as the extension number.

Extension Number
(EXTENSION)
Use this option to select the extension number (and corresponding Subscriber Mailbox) you want to program.

Mailbox Type
(MBOX TYPE)
(Software version 03.20.07 or higher)
Use this option to set the mailbox type. For a Personal Subscriber Mailbox, enter 1. For Group Mailbox,
enter 2. To disable the mailbox, enter 0. An extension's mailbox is not accessible when it is disabled (even
though its stored messages and configuration are retained in memory.) If disabled, a user pressing MW will
initiate a remote logon and be asked to enter their mailbox number. A voice prompt then announces, "That
mailbox does not exist."

✔ By default in DS1000, Subscriber Mailboxes 300-307 are Personal (1). All others are disabled (0).
DS1000 has 34 Subscriber Mailboxes (300-333).
✔ By default in DS2000, Subscriber Mailboxes 300-315 are Personal (1). All others are disabled (0).
DS2000 has 128 Subscriber Mailboxes (300-427).
Mailbox Active
(MAILBOX ACTIVE)
(Software versions prior to 03.20.07)
Use this option to enable or disable the mailbox. An extension's mailbox is not accessible when it is disabled
(even though its stored messages and configuration are retained in memory.) If disabled, a user pressing MW
will initiate a remote logon and be asked to enter their mailbox number. A voice prompt then announces,
"That mailbox does not exist."
