1003 - Trunk Options
Description
Use the 1003 - Trunk Options below to determine which trunks the IntraMail Automated Attendant should
answer, as well as assign an Answer Table to each of those trunks. Also use this program to set up the Tandem
Trunking option (required for External Transfer). For information on the other 1003 - Trunk Options (not
related to IntraMail), see the DS1000/2000 Software Manual.
Options
Direct Termination (Day)
(DAY TERM)
For each trunk you want the IntraMail Automated Attendant to answer during the day and at night, enter the
IntraMail master extension number (normally 700). For trunks terminated to the IntraMail master number,
the setting of this option overrides the setting of 1003 - Direct Termination (Night) below. See the following

Direct Termination (Night)
(NIGHT TERM)
For each trunk you want the IntraMail Automated Attendant to answer only at night, enter the IntraMail
master extension number (normally 700). Keep the following in mind:
If a trunk is terminated to the IntraMail master number in 1003 - Direct Termination (Day) above, that

termination is also in force at night.
If a trunk is terminated to Key Ring (entered by pressing

Night (System Mode System) Key controls the day/night mode of the trunk.
If a trunk is terminated to an extension during the day, that extension's

mode of the trunk.
