DIGITAL
Select an output signal type from the following
AUDIO
in accordance with the equipment connected to
OUTPUT
the digital audio output terminal (AV amplifier,
etc.). (See the list below for the preference
items and output signal.)
PCM ONLY:
Equipment corresponding only to linear PCM.
DOLBY DIGITAL/PCM:
Dolby digital decoder or equipment having the
same function.
STREAM/PCM
DTS/Dolby digital decoder or equipment having
the same function.
DOWN MIX
Switch signal from the digital output terminal of
the DVD VIDEO according to the connected
equipment. Select this when "DIGITAL AUDIO
OUTPUT" is set to "PCM ONLY".
DOLBY SURROUND:
A dolby pro logic decoder-built-in equipment.
STEREO
:
An ordinary equipment.
D (Dynamic).
To make adjustments for the difference
RANGE
between a high volume and a low volume when
COMPRESSION
playing back with low volume (only for a DVD
recorded with Dolby digital).
:
AUTO
D. range compression automatically works.
ON:
D. range compression always works.

When you want to control JVC TV by using this

DVD1
:
Connect to the video-3 input on the TV set.
DVD2:
Connect to the video-1 input of the TV set.
DVD3:
Connect to the video-2 input of the TV set.
DivX
The DVD player has its own registration code.
REGISTRATION
You can confirm the registration code, when
necessary. Once you have played back a disc
in which the registration code is recorded, the
registration code of the DVD player is
overwritten for copyright protection.
