Storage

Disassembly U V
Park the device on an even surface and switch the
Î
parking brake on.
Bring the wheels of the cutter deck into the
Î
highest position.
Lower the cutting mechanism and bring it into the
Î
lowest position.
Put the locking pin from outside right into the
position "
" (above the cutting height adjustment
lever) and turn them down to secure them.
This secures the cutting height adjustment lever
located under the locking pin.
Remove the V-belt U  [A] from the PTO coupling
Î
(engine belt pulley) U [B]. To do this, pull left
or right side of the V-belt backwards and then
downwards while manually turning the engine belt
pulley in the opposite direction.
Note
Work carefully to avoid trapping your fingers.
Pull out the splint left and right cutter deck sus-
Î
pension V [C] V  [A] to separate the cutter deck
from the suspension unit. In doing so, support
the cutters firmly so that they cannot drop to the
ground.
Push the cutter deck forwards to separate it from
Î
the front suspension unit V  [B].
Place the cutting height adjustment lever upwards
Î
into the highest mowing position.
Insert the locking pin into the highest mowing
Î
position and let the cutting height adjustment lever
above it latch in on the locking pin.
Pull out the cutters from beneath the device.
Î
Assembly
To reinstall the cutter deck, perform the steps in
Î
the "Disassembly" section in reverse order.
Note
Following assembly, check that the V-belt is
positioned correctly and is not twisted W .
Adjusting the cutter deck O
Park the device on an even surface and switch the
Î
parking brake on.
Note
Before aligning the cutters check the tyre
pressure on the device.
When mowing does not appear to be parallel to the
lawn the cutters can be aligned.
Setting the cutter deck side level
Bring the cutter deck to the middle height position.
Î
Carefully turn the outer cutters transverse to the
Î
drive direction.
Measure the distance between the ground and the
Î
ends of the two outer cutters.
The distance should be equal at all times. If
necessary, you can set the correct level as
follows. Perform the adjustment on the adjustment
segment [1] of the cutter deck:
Release the locknuts [2].
Î
To set the level, turn the adjusting nuts [3].
Î
Re-tighten the locknuts.
Î
Set the cutter deck level from front to
back P
Note
First check the side cutter deck level.
Park the device on an even surface and switch the

parking brake on.
Bring the cutter deck to the middle height position.
Î
Carefully turn the outer cutters parallel to the drive
Î
direction.
Measure the distance between the ground and the
Î
end of the right cutter.
The end of the front blade should be about 6-9 mm
lower than the rear. You may have to adjust the front
fixing bracket [1] as follows:
Release both nuts [3] turning them in an anti-
Î
clockwise direction.
To set the level, turn both adjusting nuts [2]
Î
equally.
Tighten both nuts [3].

Storage
Attention !
Damage to appliance materials
¾ Store the device in a clean, dry enclosed space.
¾ Protect the device from rust when storing it for
lengthy periods of time.
¾ Protect the device from frost.
Clean the device and the grass catcher.
Î
Wipe all metal parts down with an oily cloth or
Î
spray them with oil to protect them from rust.
Charge the battery.
Î
Remove the battery in the event of long-term
Î
storage (e.g. over winter).
Charge up the battery every 6–8 weeks in the
Î
event of long-term storage and before reinstalling.
Drain the fuel and shut down the engine – see the
Î
engine manual.
Check the tyre pressure.
Î
