Age Verification
Age Verification parameters may be programmed in Sam 1000. Five different ages may be
set in the SPS-1000 to control the sale of age sensitive materials.
1. Choose the Edit ECR Data menu, then select P-Mode Programming menu to open the
P-Mode Programming menu. Select Age Verification to display the Age Verification
screen for the selected store file.
2. Select the Value text box for the appropriate Age Verification Element number and type
in the age at which sales will be allowed.
3. Click on the Exit icon to return to the main menu and save your changes.
