Park the machine on a level surface, engage the
parking brake and lower the arms.
3.
Shut off the engine, remove the key and allow
the engine to cool.
4.
Turn the battery-disconnect switch to the off
position; refer to your machine Operator's
Manual.
5.
If your machine does not have a
battery-disconnect switch, disconnect the
negative (black) cable from the battery, then
disconnect the positive (red) cable

WARNING
Incorrect battery cable routing could
damage the machine and cables, causing
sparks. Sparks can cause the battery
gasses to explode, resulting in personal
injury.
• Always disconnect the negative
(black) battery cable before
disconnecting the positive (red)
cable.
• Always connect the positive (red)
battery cable before connecting the
negative (black) cable.

Connector mount bracket
7-pin connector
Bolt (5/32 inches)
Spacer
Nut (5/32 inches)
Release any built up hydraulic pressure by
moving the auxiliary hydraulics lever forward
and backward a few times.
Disconnect the right side outer hose fitting
(1–1/8 inches) from the bulkhead coupler and
plug the hose end.

Remove the bulkhead coupler locknut (1–5/16
inches).
Align the connector mount bracket over the
threaded end of the bulkhead coupler and
secure it with the bulkhead coupler locknut.
