5. Lift up the spring-loaded cover on the 7-pin
connector and insert the valve manifold solenoid
harness connector

Note:
Ensure that the cover is fully closed over
the locking tangs on the valve manifold solenoid
harness connector.

Testing the Installation

No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Turn the battery-disconnect switch to the O
position; refer to your machine Operator's
Manual.
2. If your machine does not have a
battery-disconnect switch, connect the
positive (red) cable to the positive (+) terminal
and the negative (black) cable to the negative (-)
terminal of the battery
Note:
Secure the cables using the cable
mounting hardware used previously.
3. Start the engine and raise the loader arm so the
bucket is off the ground.

4. Turn the low flow switch on to activate the
auxiliary hydraulics low flow system.
5. Set the throttle to fast and lock the auxiliary
hydraulics lever in the forward flow position;
refer to your machine Operator's Manual.
Important:
with the auxiliary hydraulics lever in the
forward flow position.
6. Operate the left and right sides of the rocker
switch on top of the 4-in-1 bucket lever; the
bucket should open and close and a green
LED within each of the valve manifold solenoid
harness connectors should illuminate.
Note:
When the left side of the rocker switch is
depressed the jaws should open, when the right
side is pressed the jaws should close. If the jaws
open/close in reverse, loosen the handle locknut
(Figure 23) and screw the handle down 180°.
Secure the handle and tighten the locknut.
7. Move the auxiliary hydraulics lever to the neutral

position.
8. Raise the loader arm to the half way position
and fully tilt the bucket forward.
9. Ensure that there is no tension on the valve
manifold solenoid harness at the connection to
the loader arm harness.
10. Fully dump and curl the bucket; at the midpoint
of this motion ensure that the hoses do not bend
excessively at their connections to the manifold
assembly.
Important:
the hoses, you must loosen and adjust the
port fittings to correct the angle; excessive
bending of the hoses causes stress and
damage to the hoses and fittings.
