Connecting/disconnecting of signal cables (new)
For devices in type of protection "non sparking": The device must be de-energized before
connect/disconnect signal cable plugs.

Secure connectors without interlock mechanically, for example, with a cable tie. For more

Rack-mounted device
Protection for use in Zone 2
Equip the device including electrical connections and front plate with suitable protection for
use in Zone 2 which meets the required IP degree of protection and the mechanical degree
of protection.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines can result in injury and/or property and environmental
damages.
Equipotential bonding
Connect the device to the equipotential bonding.
A threaded bolt M4 is available on the rear of the device to connect the equipotential bonding.
Then connect a ring cable lug with spring washer to the threaded bolt.
