Step 11 Remove the monitoring board from the third output module, and install it to the new output
module. For details, see
Step 12 It is recommended that two persons work together to install the output modules from the
bottom up into the PDC. Then tighten the copper bar connecting screws.
Step 13 Reinstall the SPD panel in the PDC.
Step 14 Reconnect cables to the original positions.
Step 15 Reinstall the panel on the PDC.

Procedure
Step 1 Remove the CAN and RS485_1 communications cables connected to the MDU, as shown in
Figure
Step 2 Remove the four screws fixing the MDU and set them aside, as shown in
Figure 8-23 Removing the MDU

Tools: Phillips screwdriver and key to the PDC cabinet door
Materials: new intact MDU
The MDU can be replaced online without disconnecting the power supply.
