Action
Connect a suitable tubing to a Column valve port, for example port 2A if
column position 2 was chosen in the method to be run.
Open the System Control module and select Manual:Execute Manual
Instructions.
Result: The Manual instructions dialog opens.
In the Manual instructions dialog:
Select Flow path:Column position.

Choose the Position used for connection of the column, in this example

Position 2.
Choose the Flow Direction Down flow.

Result: The Column valve switches to position 2.
