MENU-SPECIFIC SETTINGS

Set conditions for normal recording and timer recording as
described below.

Setting the picture quality for recording
Set the picture quality for recording to the normal recording
area as follows.

Select "FRAME" or "FIELD" recording.

still-type images must be improved. Note,

fast-moving images as they can become

Setting audio recording
Audio can be recorded together with images when
performing normal recording.
Note, however, that since this audio data will also be
stored in the normal recording area, the recording time for
this area will be reduced.

Select "AUDIO RECORDING".

Set the recording rate for normal recording as follows.

A 5.00/10.00, 3.75/7.50, 3.00/6.00, 2.50/5.00, 2.14/4.29,
1.88/3.75, 1.67/3.33, 1.50/3.00, 1.36/2.73, 1.15/2.31,
1.00/2.00, 0.83/1.67, 0.71/1.43, 0.63/1.25, 0.56/1.11,
0.50/1.00, 0.25/0.50, 0.17/0.33, 0.13/0.25, 0.10/0.20,
0.05/0.10, 0.03/0.05, 0.02/0.03 (Unit: FPS)
Selecting setting values
Image resolution is determined by the product of picture
quality and recording rate. The higher the picture quality
and the faster the recording rate, the better the image
resolution; however, as higher resolution requires more
storage capacity, the recording time will be reduced
accordingly.
The recording rate will be limited between A 10.00/
20.00 and 0.50/1.00 FPS when the setting for pre-alarm
recording is "ON".
The recording rate for timer recording should be set
separately using the TIMER SET menu. ( P. 104)

Click [SAVE].
The new setting is saved.
