Specifying the White Balance Setting

The White Bal. buttons (Figure 38) allow the operator to choose between two methods
for performing white balance.

Select the Auto button to allow the camera to automatically adjust white
balance, or select the Fixed button to use fixed default settings for white
balance. The selected mode is highlighted and saved for that camera.

Generating Color Bars

The selected camera can be directed to generate and display color bars instead of an
image. The color bars will continue to be generated until cancelled.

Select the BARS button to generate color bars from the camera, or (if color
bars are currently being generated) select the BARS button to cancel the
color bars.

Either the Auto or Fixed button will be selected at any time.
The BARS button acts as a toggle and is highlighted (darkened)
whenever the selected camera is generating color bars.
