3.5.1.3 When the External Sound Source Is Not Heard
The method to solve the problem when the external sound source is not heard is as follows:
Perform SCOPING on the
INPUT(PIN14 of U1, U2) of CODEC.
Is the music signal
supplied to the corresponding
CODEC?
Yes
Check if CLKX,
FS1 and FS2 are supplied.
Are CLKX,
FS1 and FS2 supplied?
Yes
Check if the signal is inserted in
HWX(PIN11 of U1, U2).
Is the signal output?
Yes
Other module is abnormal.

Trace the signal flow from
P1 and repair it.
No
Replace CPLD.
No
Replace the corresponding CODEC.
