3.4.7.4 When the Call Is Not Connected
The method to solve the problem when the call is not connected to the 8COMBO port is as
follows:
Check if the time slot
signal is generated from
PIN5/12 of CODEC.
Is the time slot
signal generated?
Yes
Is the signal
generated from HWR?
Yes
Is the RX signal generated
between TIP-RING?
Yes
Is the signal generated
from HWX?
Yes
Repair the MP40/LP40 board.

- Check or repair ADDRESS BUS,

DATA BUS.
- Replace SBS9401.
No
Repair the highway of the MP40
board and the mother board.
No
Replace GAIN HYBRID.
(HYB1, 3, 5, 6)

Is the signal generated from
PIN14 of CODEC?
Yes
Replace GAIN HYBRID.
(HYB1, 3, 5, 6)

Replace CODEC.
