3.4 Universal Board

This section describes the problems and troubleshooting the problems that occur on various
universal boards.
3.4.1 4SWM Module
3.4.1.1 Abnormal LAN Port Operation
Open the panel on the upper side of the cabinet and check the 4SWM module. Then, there is LED
that displays the status. Through the LED, operation status can be identified.
LED: ON: Link On
Blink: Data Communication.
The procedure for resolving the problem of LAN operation of the 4SWM board is as follows:
Start
LED is turned on?
Yes
The ping test result is normal?
NO
Check if an error occurs
in the previous port?
Yes
Replace the U2 switch

Check the LAN cable.
Yes
Check the network status.
No
Check the trace of each port and the
switch port output.(scoping)
