The Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series utilizes Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for call control with the following applications.
Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
Minimum = 8.5(1)
Recommended = 8.6(2), 9.1(2), 10.0 and later
Device Support in Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Cisco Unified Communications Manager requires a device package to be installed or service release update in order to enable
Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series device support.
