Scanning the Target Group IDs for Scanning Automatically
(Group Scan) (LTR Trunking System Only)
Group Scan is the function to scan all target Group IDs for scanning in the selected LTR Trunking system. Pressing the
Scan key is not required to initiate the Group Scan.
To use this function, LTR Background Scan must be enabled using KPG-111D/ DN.
The following Group IDs are targeted to be scanned:
The Group ID registered to be scanned using KPG-111D/ DN
The Group ID added by the Scan Delete/Add key
Even if the transceiver has initiated a Single Scan, Multi Scan or List Scan, the transceiver proceeds simultaneously with a
Group Scan by a user pressing the Scan key.
The following are differences if scanning automatically and if scanning is activated by pressing the Scan key.
If the Scan key is not pressed and when a zone in an LTR Trunking system is selected, all Group IDs in the
selected zone are scanned. The Priority Channels configured in other zones are not scanned.
If the scan is activated by pressing the Scan key, the Priority Channel is scanned.
