Example
The following table shows the maximum cable distances for different cable sizes between the
controller and a typical device assuming a voltage drop of 3 V in each cable core.
Remember that a cable loop is two cores, so the calculated distance for one core is the loop
resistance halved. I.e. 13.5 Ω / 2 = 6.75 Ω per core.
Receiver calculation = 1000 x 6.75 Ω ∕ (Ω / km)
