Understanding Lines vs. Calls

To avoid confusion about lines and calls, refer to these descriptions:
• Lines—Each line corresponds to a phone number (or extension) that others can use to call you.
Your phone can support up to two lines.
• Calls—Each line can support multiple calls.
Your phone supports up to two connected calls per line. Only one call can be active at any
time; other calls are automatically placed on hold.
Your phone supports up to one standard (ad hoc) three-way conference on either line. If one
line has an active conference, the next incoming call will receive a busy signal.
