6.1.3.1 Comments on applying for a mobile network card
In general, an application to unlock a mobile network card can be made at any authorised
specialist dealer.
During the project planning phase, first establish which GSM network is available
in the building under surveillance . A rough check of the reception characteristics
can be performed using an available mobile phone (field strength display).
For BHE members, the BHE security network offers access to inexpensive and high-perform-
ing GSM roaming cards. Further information on the BHE safety net can be found on the BHE
homepage (www.bhe.de).
For a commercially available mobile phone card, we recommend that the application for acti-
vation be requested from and carried out by the company Nerz, Ebinger Strasse 60, 72 393
Burladingen-Hausen, Tel: 07475/1345 Fax: 07475/7010, as separate protection mecha-
nisms can be activated with regard to blocking / activation or changing the card con-
tract (administration authorisation).
The desired GSM or GPRS tariff must be selected according to the current tariff price list!
The following documents must also be kept available when submitting the application:
For a private individual:
Copy of ID card (both sides)
Copy of EC card (both sides) or of a different credit card
If no EC card available, a copy of a bank statement, whereby confidential data may be cov-
ered!
For a company:
Entry in the register of companies (copy).
