Disposable bag assembly
Description
The disposable bag assembly is a pre-sterilized single-use bag, designed for solid-liquid
or liquid-liquid dissolution processes. The disposable bag assembly is available in three
variants:
All bag assemblies have a 3" port for bulk (powder) additions, a liquid addition line, a
drain line, a sample line, and an impeller assembly. The impeller assembly is welded into
the bottom of the disposable bag.
The Plus and Plus Flex bag assemblies also contain one liquid addition line for content
adjustment, two probe ports, and a thermowell. The Plus bag assembly has one liquid
addition line for acid and base solutions, and the Plus Flex bag has two liquid addition
lines.
Connection to the liquid entry points is done via bulkhead-type seals.
All addition lines and the drain line, the probe ports, the thermowell, and the impeller
baseplate on the bag are designed to align with the openings and the agitator system
of the mixer vessel.
A hopper or a powder bag is connected to the disposable bag assembly via a TC-clamp
port when solid ingredients need to be added.
Custom bag configurations are available on request.
