Definition
aseptic connection device
controlled variable
The output from the PID controller, or a manually set value
that controls the process variable.
Input/Output Cabinet
proportional integral derivative
A PID controller tries to minimize the difference between
a measured PV and a defined SP. The PID controller calcu-
lates the control signal that controls the process toward
the SP.
programmable logic controller
process variable
The actual measured value of a process parameter.
revolutions per minute
Secure Digital card
setpoint
The process target value defined by a user or the system,
that the PID controller tries to reach by adjusting the pro-
cess control outputs.
