Removal
1.
Remove the bottom housing assembly (refer to Bottom Housing operation).
2.
Remove the core assembly from the top housing (refer to Core Assembly operation).
3.
Using a #1 Phillips screwdriver remove two screws (one on each side) that attach the display assembly to the core assembly.

Carefully lift the display assembly away from the core assembly and disconnect the LCD flex cable and touch panel flex cable
from the main logic board. Be careful with flex connectors on the main logic board as they are very fragile.
Installation
When reinstalling display assembly parts be careful not to gets scratches, fingerprints, dust, or other contamination on the display
surfaces. Assembly in a clean environment using some form of finger protection is required.
1.
Confirm that the LCD display has two grounding pads installed as shown. If this is a new LCD display you will need to install
new grounding pads. Temporarily position the boot over the back of the LCD display and use the cutouts in the boot to
properly position the grounding pads as they are installed.
