In the Bal Meas Only menu (Figure 4-3), enter the following settings:
Select the AZIMUTH 1 in the AZ CH: pull down window.
Select the VELO 1 in the VIB CH: pull down window.
Enter 900 in the BAL RPM: window by highlighting the existing entry on the
display with the stylus, and then typing in the number using the keypad.
Select 1 in the N PER REV pull down window.
Select AUTO STOP in the pull down window.

Click on the START button.

Verify that the correct RPM is displayed in the upper left corner of the Bal Meas
Only window.
10. Verify that the correct magnitude and phase readings are displayed, depending upon
the type of sensor used. Table 4-8 lists the correct readings for Chadwick-Helmuth
accelerometers and velocimeters.
11. Repeat the preceding steps until all eight of the discrete Velocimeter/Accelerometer
inputs and all of the sensors and cables have been tested.
