To adjust the volume level of PA, V A and background music using the remote
For certain types of applications, such as in an hospital, there may be a requirement to set the volume levels of a micro DAU using
the remote control.

To comply with the requirements of EN54:Part 3 the minimum volume of the S-Quad sounder for voice
alarm application should be no less than 65dBA at 1m.

If PA or VA volume level is required to be adjusted then
switch On the Test mode at the control panel, see #.
Quick press and release the Power button
on Remote control. You are now in 'BGM' background
music volume adjust mode.

Trouble shooting
If the remote control fails to operate in close proximity to the
indication aperture on micro DAU then a possible cause may be
the battery. Replace the battery in the remote control.
