Search for a Contact in Multiple Directories

You can search for a contact in multiple directories simultaneously. The phone searches for the contact in the
following locations if Broadsoft directories are configured:
• All Broadsoft directories
• The LDAP directory, if it is configured
• Your personal address book
From the search results, you can view the contact's details, add the contact to your personal address book, and
call the contact. You can also edit the number before making the call.
Procedure
Step 1
Do one of the following actions:
• 6821: Press Applications

Broadsoft Directory, on page 57
LDAP Directory, on page 57
Instant Message and Presence Contacts, on page 58
Personal Address Book, on page 59
Reverse Name Lookup for Incoming and Outgoing Calls, on page 61

• Group directory (included in the Enterprise directory)
• Enterprise Common directory
• Group Common directory
• Personal directory
