Recover From a Font Error

To verify that a font error has occurred, turn the printer off and then on again,
and observe the LEDs. When a font error occurs, all three indicator LEDs blink
for 7 seconds, and then the printer automatically goes into initial program loading
(IPL) mode. In this mode, the printer will not function normally. Follow this
procedure to restore normal printer operation.
To recover from a font error, you need a Bluetooth-enabled host PC, the
Configuration Utility, and a known good font file.
Note: Font errors are not common, and typically occur when you are trying to
upload an incorrect or unsupported font. Before you follow this procedure, be
sure you have a known good font file.
