5. While holding the disk tray release latch, pull out the mounting bracket and slide the bracket
down the tray.
The mounting bracket stops when it hits the bracket lock.
The bracket lock prevents the mounting bracket from sliding all the way off the disk tray.
6. Remove the old HDD from the mounting bracket.
7. Attach the new HDD to the mounting bracket.
