Configuring the base station
Presetting a remote operation connection
Only available for base stations without an integrated answering machine
(e. g. Gigaset SX205isdn or Gigaset SX303isdn).

Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click Base settings.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.
ì
Open the Assignments tab.
ì
Use the Remote Answering Machine field to enter the telephone number of an
external answering machine if your network provider's telephone exchange pro-
vides one. You can then set up the remote play call directly via your base station.
ì
Click Apply.
The new settings are sent to the base station.
If you dial a number from your PC, the connection is set up by the assigned device.
