Configuring the base station

Picking up calls from the answering machine

Only available for Gigaset SX255isdn and Gigaset SX353isdn.
If a call is being recorded by the answering machine, you can pick up the
call on an internal terminal with the same Receive MSN.

By pressing the call key you can take over the call from the answering
machine and stop the recording.

Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click Base settings.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.
ì
Open the Assignments tab.
ì
Activate the Automatic call pickup by AM option so that you can pick up calls while
the answering machine is recording them. When you pick up the call the recording
stops.
ì
Click Apply.
The new settings are sent to the base station.
If you dial a number from your PC, the connection is set up by the assigned device.
