Dynamic Servo Control (DSC)
In drives that support Dynamic Servo Control (DSC), you can optionally use the position
controller in the drive.
If you use telegrams that support DSC, DSC is automatically enabled (setting "Position control
in the drive (DSC enabled)" is enabled at the axis TO under control loop / Dynamic Servo
Control (DSC)). The position controller in the drive is usually implemented with a rapid speed-
control cycle. This improves the control quality of the drive.
For drives on the SINAMICS Integrated, the Siemens telegram 105 is sent with DSC by default.
Note
Isochronous mode is essential on the controller and on the drive side for the operation of
DSC.
You can find further information in the S7-1500T Motion Control function manuals
