Changing the firmware version of the CPU
You change the firmware version of the SIMATIC Drive Controller CPU by replacing the device.
Replace the CPU with a CPU with the preferred firmware version.
Changing the firmware version of the SINAMICS Integrated
You can only change the firmware version of the SINAMICS Integrated by deleting and
reconfiguring the SINAMICS Integrated (see also paragraph above "Subsequently configuring
SINAMICS Integrated ").

If you want to change the firmware version of connected SINAMICS S120 CUs, you must also
start a new configuration with SINAMICS Startdrive .
Note
Firmware versions must match
SINAMICS Startdrive can only establish an online connection to SINAMICS Integrated or a
SINAMICS S120 CU when the configured firmware version matches the firmware version of
the device.
