Input delay
To suppress faults, you can set an input delay of 1 µs or 125 µs for the input filter of the
digital inputs. Changes to the signal are only detected if they are constantly pending for
longer than the set input delay time. When an input delay of 1 µs is set, the use of shielded
cables is recommended for optimum interference immunity.
Hardware interrupts
In the Hardware interrupts section, you can assign a hardware interrupt to a rising and/or
falling edge.
Interconnections
The technology objects that are interconnected with the channel are listed in the
Interconnections area.
If technology objects are interconnected, you can reach the respective technology object
through links (arrow icons).
Use the corresponding button to update the selection list. Updating may be required, for
example, if changes have been made to technology objects elsewhere in the project while
the channel configuration is open.
Further information
You can find more information on the DI operating mode in Assignment of the control
interface (Page 191) and Assignment of the feedback interface (Page 192).
