Optional Features

Note: Refer to the Accessories and Options chapter of the System Reference for a list of
system-specific features and options, including transducers.
Mobile QuikStart for Portable Studies
(Standby)
(Optional)
The Mobile QuikStart optional feature for portable studies decreases the
time required to power the system on or off by using the installed battery to
place the ultrasound system in a standby status.

Extend Performance Technology

(Optional)
Extend technology maximizes image quality by combining a period of
increased transmit power with a temporary freeze period of no transmit
power
Available with the following imaging transducers and study types:
CH4-1 (Abdomen, Abdomen Difficult, Renal)
CH6-2 (Abdomen, Abdomen Difficult, Renal)
C7F2 (Abdomen, Renal)
Available during the following imaging modes: 2D-mode, Color, Power,
Doppler (using the update style D-Lv/2D-Frz), THI, and 3-Scape with
Power mode (using Auto Sweep only, for C7F2 only)
Not compatible with Biopsy, CCAI, Clarify, CPS, SieScape, or THI

Clarify VE

(Optional)
Available on all imaging transducers
Clarify vascular enhancement technology (Clarify VE) is an optional
feature that can decrease artifacts in the 2D-mode image, resulting in an
improved view of anatomical structures. Decreased artifacts can
enhance definition of both tissue and vessel walls by increasing contrast
resolution and improving boundary detection. Clarify VE uses flow
information to eliminate noise and reverberation from vessels.
Available in combination with 2D-mode, the 2D-mode image in Doppler,
SieClear, THI, TEQ, CCAI, SieScape, and 3-Scape
