To optimize the Sony UP-D23 MD printer for high quality printing:
1. Display the Windows Properties dialog box for the printer.
2. Select the Paper tab and then clear the High Speed check box.
3. Select the Graphics tab.
4. Select Color Balance from the Color Adjust drop-down box at the top
of the tab and enter the following values recommended by Siemens:
Field for the Color Balance selection
Cyan – Red
Magenta – Green
Yellow – Blue
5. Select Lightness from the Color Adjust drop-down box and enter the
following values recommended by Siemens:
Field for the Lightness selection
Sharpness
Dark
Gamma
Light
6. Select the Gray Balance tab and enter the following values
recommended by Siemens:
Field for the Gray Balance tab
Gray Balance A
Gray Balance B
7. Select OK to save changes and exit the Windows Properties dialog box.
8. To exit the Presets menu, press the Presets key.
