Master/slave operation
7�4 Connecting the water supply
For motor and frequency converter cooling, the hydraulic power unit must be
connected to a cooling water supply.

1 Cooling water ports K: 2 x G1/2 (DIN EN ISO 1179-2)
▶ Connect the lines to the intended cooling water ports, see Fig. 14, item 1,
and close the connections according to the circuit diagram.
▶ Route the cooling water connections K: G1/2 with cylindrical fittings.
▶ Tighten the fittings according to manufacturer specifications.
▶ Make sure that the cooling water supply temperature does not fall below the
dewpoint of the ambient air around the hydraulic power unit.
▶ Observe the following requirements:
– Cooling water input temperature: 15
– Minimum cooling water flow: 8 l/min
– Maximum cooling water pressure 10 bar
– Maximum glycol content: 30 %
▶ Connect both hydraulic power units in parallel to the water cooling.
