3.8 Operating the Transceiver in Each Mode (Common Operation)

Selecting data from a list by using the keypad (Shortcut Entry)
The following are the operation examples for selecting "ID 0002", "ID 0024" or "ID 0245" from a Unit ID List in Individual
Call Mode:
Selecting "ID 0002":
Press the [0] and [2] keys on the keypad in this order, and then press the Menu ([Q]) or [*] key (OK) to fix.
Selecting "ID 0024":
Press the [0], [2] and [4] keys on the keypad in this order, and then press the Menu ([Q]) or [*] key (OK) to fix.
Selecting "ID 0245":
Press the [0], [2], [4], and [5] keys on the keypad in this order.
Note
The following are the main keys to be used for these operation examples:
0
To determine: the Menu ([Q]) or [*] key
To delete one character: the Back ([O]) or [#] key
The number of digits to be entered varies as follows depending on the highest list number configured in the transceiver:
0
If the highest list number is lower than 10: one digit
0
If the highest list number is 10 or higher and lower than 100: two digits
0
If the highest list number is 100 or higher and lower than 1000: three digits
0
If the highest list number is 1000 or higher: four digits
0
If the entered number does not exist when it is determined, the transceiver restores the previous display prior to entering
0
the number.
The displays above are the displays when Individual Call Acknowledge Request in an NXDN Conventional system is
0
enabled.
