System definition

Introduction

On the System definition pages, the equipment of which
the system consists can be registered. Using the System
definition pages, it is possible to register (add) and
unregister (delete) the following pieces of equipment:
Network controller (see section 42.3).
Power amplifiers (see section 42.4).
Call stations (see section 42.5).
Audio expanders (see section 42.6).
Fiber interfaces (see section 42.7).
CobraNet interfaces (see section 42.8).
TCP/IP devices (see section 42.9).
Multi channel interface (see section 42.10).
Call stacker (see section 42.11).
Note
Equipment that is not listed in the System
Definition pages, does not have to be
configured (e.g. network splitters).

42.2 Serial numbers

Each Praesideo unit has a serial number, which is
needed to register the unit in the system. The serial
number is on the unit label on the unit (see figure 42.2).
