2-12 General Description
LAN (1 - 2) Link/Access Lamps
The lamps indicate the states of the two LAN ports in the CPU blade. Each lamp lights green if the
corresponding port is connected to the network.
If a lamp does not light in spite of the link (connection) state, check the installation state of the CPU
blade and the connection state of the cable connected to the network. If the lamp still does not light,
contact the sales or maintenance service representative.
ID Lamp
Pressing the ID switch lights the lamp, and pressing it turns it off. The ID lamp is intended to
identify a specific CPU blade in a system in which more than one CPU blade is installed. Lighting
this lamp can help the maintenance work to identify the faulty device.
The lamp is lit by the ID switch on the CPU blade. The lamp blinks when receiving a specific
software command.
