Creating RAID 1 Array
A RAID 1 array can be created in two different ways; either creating a new RAID 1 array or
converting a single existing drive into a RAID 1 array. To create a RAID 1 array , follow the
procedure below:
1.
Select RAID-1 on the Select RAID Type window.
Move the cursor to the hard disk drive to be used by using the spacebar and press Enter.
The RAID-1 Build Option window appears.

Select the proper option and press Enter.
– Configuration of new RAID: Select Create new RAID-1.
– Mirroring of hard disk drives already used (migration):
• When the hard disk drives used are connected to ID:0 and new hard disk drives to
ID:1: Select Copy (0) to (1).
• When the hard disk drives used are connected to ID:1 and new hard disk drives to
ID:0: Select Copy (1) to (0).
Before migration, the Host RAID driver must be installed in the environment used.
IMPORTANT:
