5-30 Installing the Operating System
Re-installation of the Network Driver
Using Windows Server 2003
The network driver will be installed automatically.
Using Windows 2000
After installing the OS and deleting the network drivers, if you want to re-install the network drivers,
follow the procedure below.
1.
Restart the OS and logon to your system.
2.
[Upgrade Device Driver Wizard] dialog box appears.
Click [Next].
3.
Confirm that the [Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)] radio button
is selected and click [Next].
4.
Select the [Specify a location] check box and deselect other check boxes.
Click [Next].
5.
The [Upgrade Device Driver Wizard] dialog box opens.
If using [Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Dual Port Network Connection], specify [CD-ROM
drive letter:\WINNT\W2K\LAN\BC5\PRO1000\Win2K].
Then click [OK].
6.
Click [Next].
7.
Click [Finished].
The [Upgrade Device Driver Wizard] dialog box appears.
Refer to the step 2 to 7 to install.
After re-installing the network drivers, the link speed and Duplex mode need to be specified.
Refer to "Network Driver" described earlier.
