Secure the bracket of the expansion slot card to the PCI bracket assembly with one screw.
IMPORTANT:
to/from two or more CPU blades, make sure not to switch PCI bracket
assemblies between blades. Reinstall each PCI bracket assembly to the
blade from which you removed it.
Now the riser card with expansion slot card is ready to be installed in the CPU blade.
50.
Hold the riser card so that its connector faces to the component side of CPU blade and the
PCI bracket assembly faces to I/O panel side of the CPU blade.

Position the connector of the riser card so that it aligns the connector of the CPU blade,
and insert the riser card straight into the connector.
Connect the riser card while engaging the PCI bracket assembly with the I/O panel of the
CPU blade.
IMPORTANT:
Do not touch with your bare hands the terminals on the board.
Malfunctions may occur if the board is installed with dirt and/or oil
adhering to the terminals.
Insert the riser card vertically into the connector. The terminal or
connector may be damaged if it is inclined.
If the board cannot be installed securely, remove the board once and
then install the board again. Adding excess force to the board may
cause the board to be damaged.

Push the riser card with your fingers firmly toward the CPU blade to connect the card to
the slot.
