How does the
printer work
Connect the video source
(VTR, camcorder, or laser
disc player, etc.) and the
video display (TV or
monitor) to the printer. Use
the devices equipped with
VIDEO and/or S VIDEO
input/output connectors.
You cannot use the devices
with only aerial connectors.
For connection, refer to
"Connecting the Colour
Video Printer" on page 22.

Supplies the video source to
the printer.
Monitor TV
Displays the reproduced pictures
and the images stored in memory
and to be printed with the printer.
Also shows menus and
messages of the printer.
Camcorder
Connect to the front input
connector for temporary use.
Printouts are ejected
here.

Store
an image.
Print.
Insert the colour ribbo
cassette and close the
lid.
Remote commander
supplied
Allows quick and easy
control of the printer.
Insert the print paper in
the paper tray.

Signal flow
Printing TV broadcast pictures only
Only a TV with VIDEO or S VIDEO input/output connectors can be used. For details,
