the device with the back cover attached.

To remove the back cover, with the back of the device
facing you, press the back cover release button and lift
off the back cover (See fig. 4).

If the battery is installed in the device, lift the battery
out of the device. (See fig 5).
Always switch the device off, and disconnect the
charger before removing the battery.

Open the SIM card slot latch (See fig. 6) and slide the
SIM card sideways into the SIM card slot (See fig. 7).
Make sure that the bevelled corner of the SIM card is
pointing inwards into the slot and that the golden
contact area on the card is facing downwards.
