Checking Screen Displays and Basic Operations

This section describes each screen displayed on the device's LCD panel. If character strings received from a connected
device contain characters that cannot be displayed by the device, they may be replaced with characters that can be
displayed.

Checking/Operating the Top Menu

Displaying/Operating the Status Screen
The status screen of the top menu is displayed on the LCD panel when you turn on the device.

Camera Number, Group Name
The selected camera number and group name are
displayed.

Screen Name
The screen name of the currently displayed top
menu is displayed.

Direct Setting Mode (P. 32)
Shooting mode, white balance, ISO/gain and
shutter speed settings are displayed and can be
changed.

Color Adjustment Settings
White balance (R gain/B gain), Master Black (Red/
Blue) and Master Pedestal setting values are
displayed.

Assigned Functions for the F1-F4 Dials and
Setting Values
Turning each dial adjusts the values of the
corresponding functions. Displayed in gray when
disabled. If the selected camera is not equipped
with the corresponding function, or if
disconnected, "–" is displayed.

Authentication Warning
Displayed when the currently selected camera
could not be authenticated with the administrator/
user name and password. Additionally,
displayed on SYSTEM menu > [Camera Connect.
Details] tab > [Administrator Name/User Name]
and [Password].

Camera Error
If a pan/tilt operation error occurs on the selected
camera,
is displayed.
